I believe from what I could find online that it is a model PA-13, however, the schematic from shows a second pot with a phono input, which is missing from this amplifier.Īlso, this amplifier has a 500 ohm output transformer instead of a multi-tap 2/4/8/16 etc type. Rectification is through a type 80 (same as a 5圓, but earlier and with a 4 pin socket.)Ĭontrols are very basic Volume and Off/Tone/On. It uses a very simple and widely copied Western Electric circuit that most pa amps used then, consisting of a PP pair of 6v6G's, 6Y7G PI, and a 6F5 preamp. I'm just a sucker for vintage obscure PA amplifiers! Its a 1938-1940 Setchell Carlson PA amplifier. ![]()
